Patricia Wilson began her study of Yang Style Taiji in 1988. She studied the simplified form through the Arlington County recreation department for the first two years and then applied to the U.S. Wushu Academy to study the Yang Style Traditional form under Christopher Pei. Ms. Wilson has attended several seminars conducted by Yang Zhen Duo (3rd son of Yang Cheng Fu) and recently traveled to Beijing to attend a three week seminar by Yang Zhen Ji (2nd son of Yang Cheng Fu and oldest living Yang family member who studied directly with Yang Cheng Fu). She is one of the few Yang Style practitioners in the world who has had the rare opportunity to study with both brothers of the 4th generation Yang family successors. Ms. Wilson has been a teaching assistant at the Academy since 1996. In February 2001, Ms Wilson received her full coaching status with the Academy. Patricia Wilson
